You can learn more about Dana Point Rehab Campus, as well as our treatment programs, from the questions and answers below. If you would like to speak with someone directly, call (949) 347-5466 for a free, confidential consultation with a member of our staff. You can also contact us online.

  • Where is the Dana Point Rehab Campus located?

The Dana Point Rehab Campus is situated on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Orange County, California. Our street address is provided upon request.

  • My son says he is ready to commit to a program that will help him recover from his four-year heroin addiction. Will he still be able to continue his education while in treatment?

Many Dana Point Rehab Campus patients continue to work, care for family and maintain academic studies throughout their treatment program. While detox is likely required, your son’s program can be tailored not only to fit with his individual addiction-recovery needs but also with responsibilities such as attending college. We would determine feasibility during the admissions process when his assessment is performed by one of our highly-qualified Dana Point Rehab clinicians.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we do accept all forms of insurance. We can quickly and easily verify your private or company provided PPO health insurance plan benefits for addiction treatment services. Call our office at (949) 347-5466.

  • Will my confidentiality will be protected?

We know that privacy and confidentiality are crucial to most people. Comprehensive federal laws strictly protect the confidentiality of patients undergoing treatment at any of our facilities; laws like these are much more stringent than those applicable to traditional hospitals. We are a medical detox and drug/alcohol rehab facility; your medical records and identity are not disclosed without your prior consent and written authorization.

  • What if I feel the program isn't what I want to do. Will I be permitted to leave treatment, or am I committed to stay for a certain amount of time?

Treatment at Dana Point Rehab Campus is always on a voluntary basis. We cannot compel you to remain in the program. You can remove yourself from any of our rehab facilities at any time and for any reason.

  • If I have to leave because of a family emergency or other situation for an indefinite period, can my spot at the campus be reserved?

Once you leave, your status as a current Dana Point Rehab Campus patient cannot be held. However, there is always an opportunity for readmission with the proper re-assessment completed.

  • I fear being isolated. Am I allowed to have visits and phone calls from family or friends?

Usually after your first week of treatment, phone calls are permitted at certain times during the day. In-person visits are determined per your assessment to ensure you have the time you need to start your recovery journey successfully.

  • I have a therapist in my hometown who thinks your program would be an excellent one for me. Will I be able to continue with that therapist after I return from the Dana Point Rehab Campus?

We encourage our patients to continue with a mental-health professional of their choice when they go home after completing their treatment with us. Your therapist can review your progress and goals achieved at Dana Point Rehab Campus, suggest support groups you may want to join, and help you make other decisions that can sustain your sobriety.

  • Am I allowed to keep personal items while at Dana Point Rehab Campus?

There are many items you can bring, but some things that are not permitted. During your intake interview, our team will provide you with a list of what is acceptable and what should be left at home.
